This track present an important level of activity, anticipating the rise of the tragic revolution and all the changes in the plot it produces: there's a soft theme for woodwinds, pizzicati, viola's ostinati, and a tragic statement of Camille's theme. The first theme stated in this track is actually the third major theme of the score and stands for the dramatic twist of the film. Este corte presenta un importante nivel de actividad, anticipando las trágicas consecuencias del levantamiento revolucionario sobre la trama: aparece un tema suave para las maderas, pizzicati, ostinati a cargo de las violas y una trágica exposición del tema de Camille.
